ISNHS high school day is celebrated during the month of march every year. In this year, March 25, 2023, Isnhs celebrated its 121st High school day celebration themed “Renewed commitment in defying odds to transcend heights of excellence and solidarity.” It is also celebrated to honor this school’s beloved alma mater. Students were glad that after 2 years, they finally had given the chance to celebrate it.

It gives the students a chance to participate in any activities during the celebration. During the celebration, the teachers, student leaders, club members and other students attended the thanksgiving mass. Afterwhich, the opening of the celebration happened through flag ceremony, welcome address, intermission number of the selected grade 10 students, awarding until the closing song. Then, the students and teachers went to the school’s field for the field demonstration which is the calisthenics and festival dances. Also the traditional games and booths held by the ssg and so on. Other students who’s unable to anticipate in this day, they were given the chance to go and watch the celebration.

With all of that, this celebration went well. The students enjoyed this event because after 2 years of not having it, they finally got the chance to celebrate it. Although the participants of this celebration was only selected, other students found their way to join by only watching the High School day Celebration.

  March of every year is  declared as Nati onal Women’s Month. The 2023-2028 theme for the national women’s month is entitled “We for gender equality and inclusive society.” In which the “WE” stands for “WOMEN and Everyone”  emphasizing the role of women themselves and everyone in the pursuit of gender equality. In the Philippines, the Women’s Month Celebration has since served as a venue to highlight women’s achievements and discuss continuing and emerging women’s empowerment and gender equality issues and concerns, challenges, and commitments.  This is a call not only for a gender-responsive society but an inclusive one. The Impact of the Pandemic to the life of the Students

My Pandemic Life                  On march 2020, they announced that we will be having a 2 weeks break because of some unknown virus. Myself was filled with happiness and excitement  that time because I can finally rest from academic stress. But then, things suddenly turned upside down. No one expected that the virus will circulate around the world, no one expected that it would become a pandemic. The 2 weeks became 2 years, causing the world to shut down. Schools were closed, classes were suspended, making us continue learning through online and modular.               I wa so mad at the virus and even the whole situation.
